DIP EPROM in Stock

We Stock some Older Dip EPROM from makers such as Atmel, ASD,  Amic, Intel, ST and Macronix. We have windowed DIP EPROM up to 8Mb. All parts are tested, dressed and erased before dispatch.

All EPROM on this Page are Erased / Refurbished Parts. Although new items are still available it is no longer practicle to stock them.

The DIP EPROM have a clear window that needs to be exposed to Ultra Violet light to erase the content before any re programming can take place.

Electrically programmed Read only memory, these parts were commonly used before the arrival of the new DIP and PLCC Flash EEPROM types that are so common today.

We can also erase and program your own EPROM If you send the EPROM to us. You may also need to send in the FIle to program the EPROM.

DIP EPROM in stock

EPROM stock comprises of new and refurbished parts. The parts have been collected over many years, and although they may not be used in PCs anymore some are still used in other industry sectors, and by hobbyists.

The parts are mainly DIP 28 and 32 pin types, re programmable PLCC EPROM are very rare, and were probably never fully implemented due the introduction of the new EEPROM types (electrically erasable programmable read only memory).

We keep the parts for the convenience of our customers who may need one at some point, or may need to have one re programmed or replaced.
